Staves

Our stave firewood is derived from end of life whisky/wine casks. We dismantle the casks and cut them into manageable sizes ranging from 2" to 8" in length. They are supplied in builder bags.

Logs

All the timber we use is from our local area. We only use wood gathered from "Arboricultural Arisings" (this is wood generated from tree work, wind damage or trees that have had to be removed). We never cut trees down for the production of logs. Our logs are extremely sustainable with a low carbon footprint. When the timber arrives on site it is naturally seasoned by leaving it in the air for 6 - 12 months ensuring a low moisture content of 20% or less.

Kindling

For our kindling we look to our sawmill for the off-cuts from our production process. All the kindling is kiln dried which results in an extremely low moisture content. This makes our kindling very easy to light and gives a good burn time. The kindling comes in various thicknesses from 1mm to 10mm and lengths of 50mm to 200mm.

Delivery

The minimum order quantity for delivery is two bags. Firewood is delivered on our skip trucks and dropped in your driveway or at the side of the road. This is known as a "kerbside delivery".

Collection

Please feel free to come to the yard to collect your firewood where we lift it on to your vehicle with a forklift.
